    Hi,

I recently bought this Asus eee pc 1001PX and I intend to connect it to my LG plasma hdtv, but doing so with a VGA cable, the image on the TV is not nice to see, the text is clumsy, difficult to read, typical low resolution effect. This laptop has an Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator Driver installed. Via the UI of this GMA, I have the possibility to select a higher resolution, but whatever i select from there higher than the one the laptop's display can support, it does not work so I am forced to stay on a low resolution basically.

Has anybody an idea how i can fix this problem?

    Thank you!

Make sure your system is only displaying on the external monitor/TV and not on your netbook's monitor.
