    Assuming that I get it with Linux, will I be able to install simple 2d games such as Maplestory and Dragon Gem?

    Are there linux ports for that? If so, then yes. You could try using Wine, although I really don't know how well that's going to work.

    Nope, you can install XP on it perfectly fine, some have even gotten OSX Tiger to work on it. :)

    They just come with Linux preloaded, but in Japan at least, they have XP preinstalled.
