Quick question...
Can anyone tell me if the Asus EEE would make a nice mini system to put emulators on for nes and such? Also, would I be able to easily make a connection to a rca tv?
thanks

I have lots of emulators on it. Just plugin my usb controller and im good to go. The RCA tv....maybe. theres only a vga out, so if u can find a vga to rca it should work ok. Just make sure you install xp on it instead of the xandros. Opens the emulator selection up alot more.

definitely fine for older consoles like NES, SNES, etc emulators.
probably not a good idea for more recent consoles like Playstation and Saturn -

hmm, wouldnt be a bad idea to do that. one of my friends recently started building random arcade cabinets so if one were to put the 2 together, you have a cheapo depo arcade on your hands haha

Playing N64 on mine; Zelda 64 and Mario Kart 64 (works beyond great).

Sega Genesis (MegaDrive) : Gens 2.12 (you can download it here : http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=290008&highlight=dgen)
Playstation 1 : Epsxe (more tricky to get working, I've followed this : http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=612021&highlight=epsxe)
Nintedo 64 : http://mupen64.emulation64.com/
Hope this helps. -

Do all the emulators work with Vista? What about MAME? The notebook I'm getting has Vista on it and I'll be pretty disappointed if all the old emulators don't work on it.
