    Hello

    i own a 1000h (go) and i would like to upgrade/mod the display.
    Anyone tried it ever or read something about it or got an opinion on that?

    You know what i need to change?

    I thought about it a lot but would like to know your stuff about it first.

    First and foremost, you'll need to find a screen and probably an inverter board that is compatible with the screen and motherboard. These are probably the only 2 hardware that you'll need for a screen replacement.

    lcd screen is not that big problem is think. it just needs to fit manually. and if not, there should be a way to customize it.
    is also found a few. (from dell mini and hp mini )

    but i dont know anything about inverter and even not where to find it

    You might not have to change the inverter.

    For instance, I know that Dell Precesion M70 used the same inverter for the 1280x800 and the 1920x1200 used the same inverter. That inverter was also used in the Precesion M20 with both the 1024x768 and the 1400x1050 panels. I was also used in the Inspiron 1300 and 6000 :)

    When I replaced my screen I just kept the backlight type the same, ie: CCFL and not LED. Find a screen of the same size, resolution you want, and connector type (I think almost everything has the same connector if the backlight type is the same) and you're good to go.
