JabbaJabba, YumYum. Great find! I love the idea of internal USB, easy to upgrade. You can easily get a 32GB flash drive.

Greatest mod to date on the EEE, that is until some folks finally have success on their LCD mods.

This mod would be useful, consider the Eee PC's SSD has only 10,000 write cycles before it goes bad. I bet a lot of people are going to love finding this out after their 2 year warranty goes out, how naughty of ASUS ;)

Arnt USB sticks rated for far fewer write cycles? Shame there arnt any NAND that connect via USB.

The normal Corsair 16GB is rated for 10,000 write cycles at $125

Another option to consider might be the 8GB voyager GT, Which is rated for 100,000 write cycles at $150 (10x the life at half the capacity)

Or the Survivor series which is $175 and 16GB but also rated at 100,000 for $50 difference and 10x the life Id have gone with this one.

The other option is to use the standard 16GB and hope by the time it wears out flash has dropped by $50 or so and he can get another one :p
