    i heard that Asus Eee PC 1000HE can be upgraded to 2gb ram.
    if so, where can i buy the one ram stick and how much will it cost?

    Newegg is the most favored website to purchase computer hardware. Make sure you select DDR2 200pin memory. The 1000HE can utilize up to 800MHz ram speed, but any of THESE would work.

    Actually, it can only support 667MHz.

    Actually, no. The 1000HE can support the faster RAM.

    Get the PC26400 800Mhz RAM. If you ever decide to overclock the Atom, even with SHE, then the faster RAM speed improves system stability.

    Doesn't 800MHz RAM automatically downclock back to 667 (in netbooks)?

    GO TO POPSCI.COM EEEPC THEY HAVE MANY WAYS TO UPGRADE YOUR EEEPC RAM BLUETOOTH MEMORY OS ITS A OLDER STORY BUT HELPFUL.

    Woah, no need for caps.

    Anyway, a RAM upgrade is extremely cheap, and you will see a great performance increase. Installing the memory is also painless.
