    Are any resellers on this site going to sell the Asus Eee PC? PROPortable, MilestonePC, XoticPC, Geared2play.com??

    Otherwise, the only US reseller I've found accepting Eee pre-orders so far is AllAsus.com. I think I'll pre-order from there shortly!

    dont expect this model released in the states. Dont expect any asus model below 700$ price range in the states period in the coming years.

    I dont understand how you can offer something for pre order that nobody at asus knows anythign about?? It is kind of obvious. at the price this price this laptop is made for poor people and poor countries. this was never destined for the states. Asus has no intentions of bringing it in.

    Asus also claimed $199 for the EEE and also claimed 16gb models.

    from my sources, eEEPC is not yet ready, and its slow, apparently thats why Asus still hasnt released it

    yeah this thing looks more like competition for the palm foleo than a laptop for OLPC program

    stole my mouth. Would be really good if it had built in gps sensors, but then asus wouldn't do that..
