waiting for the black version....
-
No Canadian dealers with a pre-sale
-
Looks pretty cool.
-
Well, instead of lugging my C90S everyday to school/work, I'd be carrying the Eee on days that I won't be using photoshop and illustrator for my thesis. Most of the time I just sit in my office and surf the internet while I wait patiently for students during my TA office hours. And yes, it looks pretty darn cool too!!

Looks like black is a preorder option.

1. CanadaComputers
2. PacificNotebooks
that's all I can think of right now -
Yea, I got a nice price on one, now to decide if I should get it....hmmm...
-
lol get the white one..it's harder to get dirty..cause there will be more fingerprints on it then dust or actual dirt
-
Well, i got the white one, but only because i've never owned a white notebook before! Plus, i think it looks more sleek
-
lol both of them? or one of each?
-
Both white. One is actually for my girlfriend
-
I'm really itching to buy one but I'm not 100% sold on it yet...!
-
-
Well, for $420, it's a decent price, though as people mentioned, it may stack up. 1gb stick is about $30~, 8gb SDHC is $70~.
Aye, but it'd be kinda helpful in class, I've stopped carrying my 15" to lectures because of the size and weight it adds, note that my 15" is 5.4lbs, so 6lbs with the adapter and a mouse - but along with 2 textbooks and a binder, it adds up. Plus, standing for 90 minutes of the TTC bus and subway during rush hour(6:20am-6:40am and 4:50pm-6:10pm) is really...really....bad. -
10" version would be awesome....I would def buy one then, especially if price was similar to the 7"
-
The Eee keeps its distance with a good $100~ or so, but it's still dangerously close, thus the negative feedback, but people have to understand what it's supposed to do, and what it's definately not supposed to.
