Would I be voiding the warranty if I replaced the default Xandros with another OS? My Eee has been acting up a lot lately, and I've no idea why. Random reboots, segfaults on like 3 different distros after a fresh install, some screen flicker when I choose drop down boxes on web pages are some of the things. I can't use a live USB since it almost always throws me into a reboot loop, or it ends in segfaults. I was thinking of sending it in, but I'd like to know more about the warranty specifications. And I'm thinking of restoring the default Xandros image to check if that gives me any errors.
Any help appreciated. =)

Try eeeXubuntu...its a good Eee PC distro.

Funny you mention that. I just made my USB stick, and when I try to get it up and running, I get either a crapton of errors, or the thing segfaults, or the installer crashes. In any case I can't seem to get the installer started. =(.
Another thing I find wierd is that if I actually keep it shut down for a while and try doing something it works. =| -

Shouldn't be a problem in my opinion. -
So I'm guessing that I'll be sending it to Asus? Or should I take it back to the reseller?
