just wondering if you guys are all still suffering bad battery life as posted in this review: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=135370

Thinking about this machine but with 2Gb RAm, but battery life of an hour is going to kill me, I'd like to see double that. Have Asus done anything about this since the review was posted ?

Surprisingly enough on another sites review, someone with a F3sv B1, claimed to get the full 4 hours using battery power. I still can't. The max I have achieved is 2.5 hours and usually about 1 hour on high performance doing some silly browsing and such.

really? he didnt happen to say anything about how he got 4 hours did he? because that would be great if i could get 4 outa this machine!

how did you get 2.5 anyway? i can only get 2 hours (i do use linux though, maybe ill have to try disabling things like the dvd drive and other stuff i rarely use. Im not really sure how to do that but ill probably check the bios for something that will help)
