    Hello ,
So I just bought the Asus F3T and installed Vista Ultimate on it... Now i have noticed that when i try shut it down from Start menu the laptop doesnt shut down. A green light below the keyboard keeps flashing the screen just goes black but doesnt turn off and a fan at the back keeps blowing. And i must shut it down via emergency shutdown holding the power button for 4 sec. What can be the problem?Anyone else experiencing similar problems? Tnx!

I suggest you check that you have the correct ACPI drivers installed. See support.asus.com for your correct ACPI drivers (look for your model number under Download) (the drivers are called ATKxxx where you replace xxx by whatever you like :) )

my asus F3T came already with vista - i guess it was home edition. it gave BSOD the same time i started it. all i did then - put XP Pro on it, and since i expierence no problems. of course that's not a solution, but what i felt while working with vista on my F3T - it's just not ready.
