    Hello!

I was just wondering if anybody could help me with this query please.

My problem is that over the course of an online multiplayer COD-WAW session I can expect my laptop to turn off instantly. A blue screen will then appear saying something along the lines of 'if this has happened before you need to run a system diagnostic utility that should be supplied by the manufacturer. It may be a problem with memory or our video card'. This instruction is mixed in with some other things I didn't catch but mostly technical info. Then it goes onto the black screen that lists the option on how to start the laptop up e.g. in safe mode or in a normal mode.

It has happened several times now so can anyone tell me what I need to do? :S

Thanks for any help people can give :)

A bluescreen can be caused by many things.

Since in your case it happens during an online game, I can imagine 2 things:
    a) GPU-related (most likely). In this case, you could try alternative versions of GPU drivers, such as modded drivers from laptopvideo2go.com.
    b) network-related. Reinstall network drivers?

Moreover, I would also suggest you watch the temperature of the GPU during gaming, with e.g., GPU-Z. Make sure it doesn't overheat.

Finally, if the causes of the bluescreen (error numbers and faulty driver file listed on the bluescreen) are always different, it can also be a RAM problem. Use memtest86+ to check for that (Google for the program and usage instructions).

Does it only happen on this game or others as well? How about non-gaming? As EBE suggested, try memtest86+ first to make sure it's not your system memory and then monitor the heat from your machine while playing. I also have an F3SV but have never had it bluescreen on me while in a game. I had it freeze because of heat though while gaming.
