There hasn’t been a lot said about this particular model and wanted to make a couple of quick comments for those thinking about buying one.
I received the unit last week from the Egg for 799.00 inc. Shipping. It was purchased for my oldest kid to use in college and some gaming.

I didn’t have a whole lot of time to play with it but my initial impressions are very satisfying to say the least.

Unit is well built and the display was free of any dead pixels upon opening.
Not a whole lot of extras but what you get in terms of the notebook itself for the dollar is really an excellent overall buy.

Now to the GT220M this is not on Nvidia site under the mobile products not sure why but if you look to download drivers it’s not an available option.

So there was some trepidation on our part because the criteria’s at least for us was we wanted to have the notebook able to play modern games understanding that we don’t have to max out all setting but have a very enjoyable gaming experience none the less.

I will say that we are quite impressed with the GT220M we where able to play any source game with 8-AA, and 16-AF and have fps in the 70’s.

We also played Ages of Conan and had a very good gaming experience with frames in the mid 50 with medium to high settings.

So all in all pretty happy with the notebooks overall performance, good build and overall hardware and price point thats hard to beat from an well known notebook manufacturer with a 2yr warranty.
