    HI !

    Great website !

So, i got a problem, my 2 years old F6V battery don't last more than 5 minutes.

It droped regulary in a few month. to just have a 5 - 10 minutes charge depending on the power plan.

No matter how long it stays plugged in.
Even if i discharge it and recharge it...

    What can i do??

    Any ideas please?

IF the battery is 2 years old, It may need to be replaced. I just called ASUS for a similar issue and this is what I was told. Remove the battery, and AC adapter, hold the power button for 20 seconds then release it. (system reset)
Calibrate the battery if you BIOS has that option, or Calibate by turning off all hibernation, sleep etc and letting it drain to Zero %. Then fully charge it with the computer powered off. Hope this helps, J

Looks like your battery is dead. You need to replace it unless you want to use it like a desktop.

Battery is dead, or broken. Either way, you need a new one.
