    wow i can see this model will be a huge hit for asus with all the replies and 60 views this got. Strange i would have thought the people looking for sub 1000$ 17" would have liked it.

    Wasn't much of a fan of the F7, let alone the F-series :p

    People will have a hard time deciding TBO.

    Sorry, its the Dell 1720.

    And yea, the 1720 is a better option in my opinion, more customizable options and can be built to order to be more powerful at a low cost. Of course, with Dell coupons, it can go even lower with the sacrifice of specs. Sub $700 for 1.6ghz/1gb/120gb/x3100 etc.
