This is my consideration as a purchase:

    Asus F7SE-A1 17"
    HDMI*1, eSATA*1, 8-in-1/1x Express Card
    ATI HD 3470 Graphics w/ 256MB DX10 VRAM
    WUXGA 1920x1200 Matte
    Penryn T9300 2.5
    200GB 7200 rpm SATA
    DVDRW
    3GB DDR 667
    VISTA HOME PREMIUM

    $2,544.00 AUS

//surely someone out there owns this machine!?

What I really need is to know is if the IEEE firewire port has the TI (Texas Instruments) chipset - If anyone knows please please let me know.

//As I would be ordering this custom machine online, there is no way of knowing.. an email to the owner hasnt helped.

    Cheers all
