Hi
I just got my Asus F8SA today and it seems pretty nice but there's alot of programs installed. I'm don't know very much about computers but I want to make a clean install of Windows Vista.
I recieved a Recovery DVD with Windows Vista and then a "Driver & Utility Ver 2.0" cd on the side so I should be able to get a clean Vista, right?
Also, the HDD was divided into to partitions, one "VistaOS" of 116gb and one "DATA" with 108gb. Should I keep them or make them one partition?
How to do a clean Vista install with the recovery DVD?
I would appreciate some help!

Isn't there anyone who has any information about this recovery DVD? If it only will restore the same installation (with 75 processes running) or a clean one?

You are able to get a clean Vista, check my Tips and Tricks (signature). Basically you don't insert the drivers CD when it asks you to.
As to optimizing Vista... see my signature again. -
