Just got an Asus F8Sn-B1 Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 (2.10GHz) 14.1" WXGA (1280x800) 3GB DDR2 250GB HDD DVD Super Multi Nvidia 9500M w/ Vista Home Premium and was wondering what games I should plan on getting that run smoothly on it and your recommended settings. Would also like some more info on the gpu. Thanks in advance!

You should check the F8 threads as there are many.

Even better how 'bout you do some testing & report your results ? I haven't had any major problems with games but I don't play that many with FEAR & a couple rts ones being about it.The stock video driver can be swapped with other "modded" inf's to help with most , if not all , problems.

Check this site for video driver updates:

On my F8Sn Vegas 2 runs beautifully at 1360x768 (I use an external monitor for gaming) without OC'ing on 174.74 LV2G drivers. It's also quickly becoming my favorite FPS. The Bioshock demo (get it off of steam) also ran very well. I'll post up settings/FPS a little later today.

On Rainbow Six Vegas 2 with no AA/VSync, shadows medium, motion blur low, 1360x768 I'm getting from 27-40 FPS (Usually around 30) discounting the helicopter rides. GPU temps hover around 72C with the max at 74C, so it runs really cool. On a side note, is there a way to change any other graphical settings? The models and textures definitely look high quality.

    I'm using vista.

Using a modest overclock (515/1030/440) on 175.70 drivers gives me a consistent 25-30 FPS with everything on high, AA quality 2. The max temp hit on these settings are about 75C. Use Rivatuner to monitor temps/overclock if you want to (but be careful if you decide to).

I also undervolted the CPU to keep it cooled. Flipfire has a very nice guide on how to undervolt.
