I have an f8va and bought COD 5 thinking i could play it. In vista the program just got hung all the time and vista would tell me. i got the newest patch and still didn't really help. so i figured that maybe it wasn't going to run with vista. Did the XP install and I still can't run it! Hangs as soon as I start the game. Anyone else have this problem? Sorry if this is in the wrong spot...

make sure your audio sample rate is at 24 bit, 48000 Hz for some reason this game doesnt like a higher sampling rate.

Other than that, try the forums at callofduty.com and give them a search or look at theyr stickies..they have some useful info there

sounds like a driver issue, might want to update that, or look into using OMEGA's drivers....
