    Hi Folks
    Need help on deciding between ASUS F9S aND LENOVO 3000 V200.

    Will not be gaming

    Just need a portable lappy.

    Noise and heat important.
    Cant find enough user reviews on either of the 2
    thanks

    If 3D (gaming) performance does not matter to you, then I would definitely go for the V200. It will get at least double the battery life of the F9S, and probably have better build quality as well.

    I think a huge feature that is often overlooked on the F9S is that it has HDMI. That is a big plus for me because I can use it with my home theater very easily (just one cable). That is a very rare feature on ultraportables. Most laptops this small don't even have DVI.

    HDMI is not a huge plus for me personally since i run a wireless media device which puts all my photos,music and videos on my HDTV thru wi-fi(like apple tv but had it installed 2 years ago---DLINK DSM-320 and works great)

    The F9S doesn't have HDMI, only the F9Dc does. The F9s does have VGA and S Video, though.

    I'm looking at the HDMI port of my F9S...its there. And F9S doesn't have the S video (just the HDMI and the VGA)...

    Yea F9S definitely has HDMI. One of the main reasons I ordered one.
