I've used a few laptops in my day, and I'd say that the nicest thing about my Z33 in terms of daily usage is the flush touchpad/aluminum surround.
I absolutely *hate* dirt and grime stuck in around the touchpad. The same goes for discolored/worn mouse buttons. The touchpad design on the Z33 eliminates both of these issues. It looks the same today as it does the day that I bought it.
I also find that it makes using the touchpad easier. The material used on the notebook case also makes an excellent touchpad surface; it dosn't 'drag' like the other-material touchpads on other models that I have used. Moving from buttons to touchpad is literally seamless.
So, +1 for the Z33 and other flush touchpad models, and I hope Asus continues to offer models with this feature in the future.

Yea, the flush touchpad is not only a nice aesthetic touch, and its easy to clean and use.

I took me a while to get used to mine, but I like it now.

this is where my complaints about the v6 mousepad lies.
Then again..having anything fall in the speak-holes are annoyin too! -
Haha, I know what you mean. As a student, my dinner table is my computer desk and.....yea
But compressed air and toothpicks help. -
Ah, I guess cleaning the two little joints around the touchpad and the surround can be a pain... I still think it's less of a pain then what I usually see happen to traditional touchpads/buttons.
I do feel for you V6 owners with the speaker holes where they are, though.
