Asus G1 - About to take the plunge but where to buy?

Hi folks,

I've been reading a lot about the Asus G1 laptop. It's the laptop I've been dreaming about! 15" size, not that heavy, powerful graphics, cool looking, best price/performance ratio, etc...

So after studying my options, I made my mind and decided to go for a G1 but I need some recommendations on where to buy.

The thing is that I live in Tijuana Mexico but work both sides of the border (San Diego, CA) and I can use my US business address for the delivery but would like to know which is the best online Asus retailer that can accept International Credit Cards.

Any ideas/recommendations?

If you find any one that accepts international credit cards, I'll be surprised.... There's too much fraud internationally, so a wire transfer or money iis typical for a situation like this.

 

I just called ProPortable and the EXTENSIVE recommendations and super customer service exceeded all my expectations!!!

I'll look forward on doing business with these guys! They sure know how to treat a future customer.

One day of the week I usually know, and I screw it up.. yes I meant a Friday night... I do believe I recall he was in fact go back in this evening to get a start on some projects.. I must have just missed him.
