Hi wonder if you guys can help..
I bought my G1 with Windows XP. After a a couple of months I got a free upgrade for Vista. I still have the Vista CD (Express Upgrade), still packaged and unopened. The serial key is different from my XP one, obviously.
I am selling my G1. My friend says he wants XP, so I will load XP for him and said I am going to keep my Vista one, he said it's fine.
Now the question, can I SELL my Vista Express Upgrade? Is it a full working OS so someone else with a Asus G1 can load it and works? I mean it is original, so it's like a brand new OS I can sell? I need the cash, so if I can sell it it would be great.
Thanx for reading, hope you can answer my question!

No. The Vista Express Upgrade is an OEM copy that is legally tied to the machine it was purchased with. You need to keep the CD with the laptop buddy. You also 'give up' your license for XP when you install Vista (as per the EULA of the express upgrade).

That's right. you can't sell it.
