    Hello NBRers,
    I recently recieved an Asus G1 and now my friend is also eyeing my laptop and would like to buy one also. So here is the problem, He can buy it used for 1500 with vista ultimate and an audigy sound card, buy it new for 1700 shipped from provantage.com (maybe price match to milestonepc.com or btotech.com), or wait for the G1s (which is probably going to increase in price and be out of his price range. So what would be a good choice =)

    If your friend needs it now, go for it. Otherwise, he would need to be prepared to save up some more for the G1S, if it's going to be out of range for him.
