When I plug my ethernet cable into my Asus G1 running windows vista home premuium, it says I have a limited connection. When I plug it into a windows xp or a windows vista desktop, they get internet. Can anyone help?

try this. In network & sharing, click view status, properties, then Internet Protocol Version 4. Make sure nothing is checked there. Try it for wifi as well, I had a custom ip address for wifi and that wouldn't let me use a wired connection at school
