I've got my Asus G1S yesterday. I'm form Poland. First of all I was surprised that G1s available in Poland is some different version from that most of You guys have (or can buy ;) ). It's Asus G1S AK030G model with c2d T7300 (not T7500 as usual)! This is first difference I've notice... and for now is the only one, from hardware side of view. But second thing was interesting ;) I've got full bundle version of STALKER (some special G1S edition - it have G1S screen at the beginning of the game) :) I read many reviews or opinions of G1S and I've never heard that anyone got full bundle STALKER ;)

FYI, it's runs very well on standard config :)

Well I don't have my G2S yet but my stalker also has a ASUS G series splash screen, right before the nVidia one.

    Hey szary,

I'm also considering the asus G1s. Can u tell what resolution you are running when playing STALKER and what framerate accompanies it?

    Tnx

    Hi ShogunHelios,
    Resolution: 1024x768
    Details: High
    Full dynamic lights on

Framerate is good. Almost all the time over 20-30 (max 50). Only one time I observed that framerate was lower than that, that is was noticeable, but still not very bad and playable :).

Are you playing it on Vista? I heard there were MANY compatibility issues.

I'm playing on vista. no compatibility issues detected :) I run STALKER, quakeworld ( ;) ), visual studio 2005, turbo delphi... and many more apps. Everything runs fine :)
