I seem to be having hiccups in World of Warcraft now. I had reformatted to XP for the 3rd time after slipping my own version of XP.

It played beautifully on 169.09 drivers, and on the old installs. Now I did my own, everything works great, all drivers are working, and I tried 169.09 and it hiccups in WoW, it stutters. I tried 169.21, still stutters/hiccups.

I am not sure what would cause this , as its a clean install.

I run in WoW on my mount, and every other step it stutters now. Even when walking....very odd, its basically unplayable like this, I had not tried any other games, and suggestions?

Let me add one more thing : It does not do it for about 20 seconds, then, once warmed up, it seems to start doing it. By warming up, I mean the GPU is hotter (I can hear the fan now).

GPU temps = 70 or so idle, 95 or so full load.

See, another G1S user with exact the same high temperatures (also like my G1S)

Yeah, but I tried new drivers...the 169.21 ones. I am not worried about 'high temps' (though that constant fan is annoying).

I was thinking maybe something in BIOS regarding the GPU?

Well, I'm on the 169.21 driver to now and when I installed it counter-strike: source was stuttering.
I also asked on this forum what it could be and they said: Do a clean install again (same driver), i did that and my stuttering problem was solved :)

Just try to install the 169.21 driver AGAIN

What is a quality way of removing the driver then? To make sure all of it is gone?

No it's pretty normal.... in a notebook.

My C90S can stand 3-4 hours of gaming under 110C on the GPU no problems (CPU wich is not even an inch away stays at 66 =/)

but this had never happened before...I will try the clean install of my drivers, see if that helps. Prior to the reinstall, I was at a lan, gaming for more then 12+ hours on it with zero issues!

okay, I have reinstalled the 169.29 driver 3 times now, with the same issues...itll work great for about 30 seconds, and then once the fan kicks in(basically it gets hotter) it starts to be choppy...HM

I tried underclocking the CPU as well, with no luck.
