Gentech has following options listed on their harddrive configuration for Asus G1s.

    -Seagate Momentus 7200.2 120GB 7200rpm S-ATA 300 : $119
    -Seagate Momentus 7200.2 160GB 7200rpm S-ATA 300 (back-ordered, temporary sold out): $169
    -Hitachi 200GB 7200 rpm 16MB S-ATA: $235

Since the 160GB hard drive is temporarily sold out, I would most likely consider next option up. My question is, whats the difference between the 200GB and 160GB hard drive?

The 200GB option does not list S-ATA 300. It only lists 16MB S-ATA. Is that a slower hard drive than the 160GB? I appreciate the clarification. Thanks.

You could turn the original 160 into an external hard drive with an enclosure.
