    Hi all,

I am a photopraghy lover, and on my country have not the DELL 1500 with WSXGA+ 1680x1050 display, so I don't know it is good or not

And The LCD for me each day using is important, I also play some game on notebook.

I am wonder do the Asus G1S 15.4 is a wide screen 16:10? I look the photo from the net, it look like a 4:3 notebook. And how about the Asus G1S 's Screen compare with the DELL WSXGA+ one?

    Thank you.

Most people will tell you that the G1s screen will blow the dells away. it is widescreen, 16:10.

Careful, though, some countries, like Germany, only offer the G1S with 1440x900. But there is the possibility, if you have the cash, to install a new LCD (of any type) in your laptop.

a lot of dells have MAJOR problems with their screens - just check out the dell forum - youll find over 50 threads talking about it

i actually ordered a vostro 1500 before i bought the asus - it only had the xga+ (1440x900) screen, but it was horrendous - definitely the worst laptop screen ive ever seen (very grainy, colors completely washed out, gave me a headache after 5 minutes, etc)

according to the forum, this problem carries over to the sxga+ screens as well - unless dell did something to remedy this in the last month and a half (i received my vostro 1500 at the beginning of november - returned it 2 days later), then i would stay away from them

the g1s screen, on the other hand, is just gorgeous
