Running ati tool, it got up to 102c, the cpu never goes above 75ish.
Is this to hot? Should i call Asus and get it warrantied?
It seems to run fine while this hot, but im just not sure its safe long term.

102C is near the point of failure for silicon components. 105C and it won't work well at all if memory serves me correctly.

Cool the notebook, check the heatsink and heat compound, read the Cooling Guide...

Im perfectly capable of taking it apart, but would rather not since it is under warranty. I think i am going to call Asus to see if they will fix it for me under warranty.

just download rmclock and check the G1S resource thread for undervolting. It'll lower your temperature and keep your computer's performance. I lowered it to 1.062V and now, under full load its at 75 degrees celsius tops

How did you get RMclock to work? I've tried it using version 1.3.1 (the newest one), and I've even changed the VIM to 1V, however my temps aren't any lower?!? Is RMCLOCK lying to me? I also tried the other program, however I wasn't able to change the voltages...

Same laptop here and I have seen mine go over 100 as well. It's never closed a program, caused artifacts, slow down in performance, or crash my computer, though. I think that maybe the sensor is just a bit off as well since the temps can supposedly drop 10 degrees in about 2 seconds.
