    Hello everyone, i am looking on all of this stuttering issue with 8600M GT, and i wonder who managed to have newer drivers with no stuttering? I saw somebody here who runs forceware 174.31 on xp, how did you do it? I am currently running XP and MobileForce 163.76 drivers. Thanks

    I run the 174.31 drivers from asus support site (no modded inf). I get some stuttering in vista32 but I can use the sleep fix and get no stuttering.

    For those that don't know the sleep fix:

    Put your notebook into sleep
    Resume from sleep
    No stutter.

    I doubt the stuttering can be fixed from a driver level, the reps on the zepto forum have admitted to it being a bios bug, as well as toshiba and compal fixing the stuttering with a bios update.

    Where did you get them? In Asus support site (Asus G1S), i find only forceware 101.34. From what lappy did you get those? :)

    On the Asus support site instead of choosing

    Notebook -> G1 Series -> G1s

    Choose:

    Notebook -> Drivers -> VGA

    then scroll down till you find the nvidia ones.
