    Hello,

I have owned my Asus G1s for about 2 years. A couple days ago, it was working perfectly, and I shut it down before I went to sleep. When I woke up, the screen won't show/load. There's still the loading sound but the screen is blank. I've had this problem before, but it would just restart and load normally randomly. Anyone else have this problem?

    Any help is appreciated,
    Thanks

I think you've got the infamous 8600m GT death bug. Contact ASUS and tell them your problem. I assume it's out of warranty. I sent mine in about 6 weeks ago and just tonight they emailed me saying that they can replace it with the G50vt-X5 for $250.00. Good luck.

That's unfortunate, thanks for the response though...I'll e-mail them and see what my options are.

    Thanks
