Hey guys just having alittle problem with RAM

It is only showing 2gb of ram in task manager, dxdiag and the properties of my computer but in the bios it says 3072mb (ok) :S

The new 2gb ram i bought was a G.Skill stick and still using the same 1gb stick that was inside. My computer wize mate said i should get another 2gb ram stick but id rather save the 78 Dollars and iv seen other people with 3gb working soo im kinda confused now.

Also i am running windows xp home edition with the bios updated from 205 to 300...
is it true that its max ram is 2gb?

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks

I don't think the G1S is limited to 2GB, so you shouldn't buy a new stick. There must be some kind of conflict involved, but I don't know details. I'll let other people answer that.

Edit: and please don't double post. I deleted your message on the other thread: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=143046

You could re-post a link to this thread, in that one. That would be acceptable. :)
