    Asus G1s-A1 Screen Replacement

    Hi everybody,

    My Asus G1S-A1 screen is dead. It's a 15.4 " WSXGA+ LCD screen. I wondered if it was possible to buy a used 15.4 LED screen on eBay and install it on my notebook. Are those two type of screen compatible with each other ?

    are you sure it's not the gpu? (did you try with an external monitor?)

    I'm pretty sure it's the screen, the HDMI, DVI and VGA output are still working. Anyway I wanted to replace it because it was badly scratched too.

    Anyone know if a LED screen could be an alternative?

    I still want to know if I can buy a brighter LED screen instead of the original LCD screen. One from another computer manufacturer for example.
