Install the .inf update from intel
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=816
take off unwanted pre-installed applications

Download better drivers from laptopvideo2go (i actually use 163.11 and am pleased with it).

(note: the 165.01 driver is not the newest, its just the highest numbered due to some wierdness)
Also, have fun with it -
find some sort of lid protector and let me know what you use
also the keyboard fades fast so if you want some sort of keyboard cover may as well get it early! -

the keyboard fades very quickly? really? even the wasd keys? cause if i actually manage to rub all the green squares off i'd be happy haha

I will receive mine soon with the ITM and 3GB of ram.

intel has newer releases of the inf files (means newer, faster, better, supposedly)

Thanks for all the advice =D
I got it and its running wonderfully so far, I was kind of wondering if there was a way to rejoin my two hdd partions without having to reformat/use the recovery cd to wipe them. -

However, I recommend keeping more than 1 partition. I keep my programs on C and all my data on D and E partitions. This way, if I have to do a recovery, I can do it on C and still have all my data intact.
