Well, I made another thread for the G1 which was pretty successful at getting responses, I might as well give this a shot. I don't think i'm the only one searching for these answers...

    The G1 Speedfan thread

    1) How many fans does the G2 have?

    2) Is fan control (speedfan or other) supported?

    3) What is the minimum rpm you can set the fan to?

    4) what is the default "low" setting for the fan in RPMs?

    5) How quickly does temperature climb with the fan(s) forced off and everthing set to minimum (including ati powerplay and intel speedstep to minimum)

i have the G2 and am currently using speedfan 4.32

I havent had a chance to really examine the program and its tweaks but one thing is forsure... the G2 is so quiet 'all the time' no matter what im throwing at it that there is no need to want to adjust fan speeds or levels at all.

That's nice to know. Quietness is subjective though, it'd be nice to know the typical rpms of the fan, if it can be changed from within the program.
