    I Have Had My Asus For A Few Weeks Now And I Am Having Trouble With Vista. I Have Heard That A Few Members Have Downgraded To Xp. I Have Tried Everything, Including Slipstreaming The Sata Driver. I Am Realy Desperate For Help And Will Take Any Suggestions. I Am A New Member So Please Excuse Any Mistakes.

    P.s. Any Windows Suggestions Or Drivers Are Appreciated

    What problems are you having? Can you go into detail please? It will help determine what can be done. Also can you list your system specs? I.e. RAM. Just to help.

    Have you checked out http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=185895 .. thread originally started by me when I had problem trying to install XP 64bit on new empty HITACHI Travelstar Hard Drive. I have now reinserted my original VISTA pre-installed hard drive, working with it. Installed another 1GB RAM and will add another after I find out how and where to get to second RAM location. One big consideration is do you really need/want to run XP now when there aren't drivers out now for a lot of essential components .. REASON why I went back to VISTA 32bit for now.
