I Am Realy Desperate For Help And Will Take Any Suggestions. I Am A New Member So Please Excuse Any Mistakes.

What problems are you having? Can you go into detail please? It will help determine what can be done. Also can you list your system specs? I.e. RAM. Just to help.

Have you checked out http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=185895 .. thread originally started by me when I had problem trying to install XP 64bit on new empty HITACHI Travelstar Hard Drive. I have now reinserted my original VISTA pre-installed hard drive, working with it. Installed another 1GB RAM and will add another after I find out how and where to get to second RAM location. One big consideration is do you really need/want to run XP now when there aren't drivers out now for a lot of essential components .. REASON why I went back to VISTA 32bit for now.
