I purchased my G2S about 3 months ago, and used Vista for 3 months, giving it a very fair chance. Last night I got fed up with Vista so I reformatted to XP using the asus forum thread as a guideline of where to get all my drivers, slipstream the eSATA drivers into nLite, etc. Everything works amazing except for one thing: My microphone when my laptop is under XP sounds horrible. It's not clear at all, sounds really staticy, but the volume is fine. I have tried the drivers that were suggested in the asus forums thread, as well as the newest Realtek ones, and both gave me the same results. Any help would be awesome!
