To anyone that has/knows the G2S, it's running fine but just had a few questions about perhaps extending it's life a little more...

    Specs: C2C 2.4Ghz, 3gb RAM, 200gb HDD

    1. With a 64bit OS, what is the max RAM I will be able to use? Is it going to be 4gb (2 x 2gb)?

    2. Is the HDD easy enough to replace for a not-so-technical person? And what sort of HDD do I need to look for to buy?

    1. 4GB of ram is confirmed to work on the G2S. However, given the G2S's Intel 965 chipset, it may even work with 8GB (2x4GB) given the BIOS's compatibility.

    2. The hard drive type that most laptops (including the G2S) uses is a standard 2.5" SATA hard drive. There should be a back panel covering the hard drive compartment which you can easily access with a screw driver. Upgrading your hard drive isn't a hard process, but be prepared to spend a couple hours transferring data from your old HDD to your new HDD.
