Hi folks,
Installed Vista 64 bit edition on my G2S with 4gb of internal memory.
Works 100% - all device drivers are available for 64bit version.
I get the same perf index in vista (4.8) with 64bit as with vista 32. But I do get 4gb of avaiable memory. So now when I run 32bit apps I can give Photoshop 2gb and premiere 2gb(more or less).
I used this thread for drivers:

and the ASUS Drivers CD.

ps. Intel have updated wifi and chipset drivers on the website. ds.

larssiden - I am wondering, did you have to buy a complete version of Vista 64-bit? Or is there an 'upgrade' version that you can buy to go from 32-bit Vista OEM to 64-bit?

I'm fortunate enough to be a professional developer - so I have a MSDN subscription that entitles me to use ALL MS software.

I'm currently awaiting delivery of my new G2s, and I'm still undecided whether to install 64-bit Vista on it. Are there any compatibility issues with running 32-bit applications on 64-bit? Specifically things like Visual Studio 2005 and iTunes.
Thanks. -
No. I wouldn't be suprised if itune even had a X64 version
