Hey guys, I have followed Flipfire's undervolting guide here to start undervolting my T7700 in my G2S-B1. I will post up my results here as I come to them.

There are 8 multipliers ranging from 6x to 13x, including the SuperLFM and IDA mentioned in Flipfire's guide. I use The first 7, SuperLFM and the Regular ticks. I like the idea of letting one core rest and the other be in use, but the issues that I have read about are not worth the trouble.

The conditions in which I am testing are stock cooling, no cooling pad, in a room where the ambient temperature is 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit. All the following temperatures will be in Celsius.

While testing, I have all my normal startup programs on except AIM, so I do not have to be bothered or interrupted in an important change. I usually surf the internet a bit while doing stress tests.

For stress testing I am using the "Blend - Stress CPU and RAM". I use CPUZ, HWMONITOR, RightMark, and Orthos running on Vista32 SP1.

Initial stress test was "Blend" and ran for 0:10:01 and reached Core1:82C Core2:82C.

I am starting with my highest, 12x multiplier. Here are the results:

    -Multiplier #7 - 12x
    1.1375 0:38:30 Core1:76C Core2:78C
    1.1250 0:31:10 76 77
    1.1125 0:30:13 75 77
    2:34:06 75-77 - Latest test to date.

    1.1000 - Both Test 1 and 2 BSOD at about 2 or 3 minutes.

    -Multiplier #6 - 11x
    1.1375v 0:16:00 75 77
    1.1250v 0:06:10 75 77
    1.0875v 0:05:35 74 76
    1.0750v 0:06:16 73-75
    1.0625v 0:04:17 72-74
    1.050v 0:07:16 72-73
    2:30:20 72-74 - Latest test to date.

    1.0375 - Both Test 1 and 2 BSOD at about 2 or 3 minutes.

I will be giving my fan a break and stop for the night, but resume soon with new results. Please post up your results for any notebook so we can have some benchmarks for others. Enjoy!
