    Asus G2SG compatible WUXGA screens?

    Hello everybody.

    I'm from Europe and I just bought an Asus G2SG, but here in europe it comes with a WXGA+ screen, so I'm looking to buy an WUXGA screen and replace the default one.

    So I was wondering if someone with the USA model could tell me the model of WUXGA LCD screen the USA model has, since I guess it will be compatible with the European model.

    Also if someone knows a good reliable place to order the WUXGA screen that ships to europe I would appreciate it.

    Newegg has the G2SG with the WUXGA screens here.


    Any 17 inch WUXGA screen should fit actually. The only problem is finding one that you like.

    Please, read the original message, I already have the G2SG european version, so I don't want to buy another one, I just want to buy a compatible WUXGA screen.

    As far as I know, not all LCD screens are compatible with all laptops, it has to do with the inverters, the cabling, etc.

    small suggestion did you check the ASUS eStore? Maybe they have multiple screens for sale for the G2.

    Can someone please run everest on their G2Sg and tell me the manufacturer and model of the WUXGA LCD that it mounts?

    A screencap of the everest showing the LCD details would be nice too.
