    Asus G2s DVD-Drive Problem

    Hi all,

    Since two weeks I have the Asus G2s, which is great :) .
    Only since a week the DVD drive is making a very stange noise when it has a DVD in it. The noise is like the laser is moving from one side to the other all the time. It does read the DVD, but for example installing FFOW took me over 8 hours, which is not normal.

    It has been working normally, so my question is wheather this could be a driver problem or if it is a hardware problem.
