Well i left the computer on this night, without installing any suspicious software or anything equivalent - nor did i perform any hardware modifications for this to happen.

The first thing i noticed is the power icon wasn't lit up as it always did when it was either on or off and the battery seemed "drained" throughout the night. The second thing i also noticed is the power adapter, the power LED on the adapter wasn't lit up and so i didn't think alot about it and replaced it with a universal 120W set for 19V, yet the power icon didn't lit up nor did it bootup when pressing the power button. To notice: there haven't been any bad weather with lightning bolts, so that's ruled out.

    Small list of tries:

Tried with and without the battery.
Tried the old and new adapter.
    Tried different power outlets.

    No change...

I've filled and sent an RMA form about this issue.
