After I press the power button, the lights lit up but screen is still black. Happens when I shut down the computer after couple of hours and I tried the Reset button method already, this still happens..

    any help?

So I start the laptop with AC power only, then put the battery back on and then Reset ?

You must unplug the AC adaptor, remove and battery and then hold down the reset button on the bottom of the laptop for 30 seconds.

Have you changed or customized any components?
have you flashed the bios to the latest version?
did you change anything in bios?

Someone on our own forum had an issue with the post sound off. The problem was unrelated but why dont you try going into exit and restore defaults. Save and exit. After that does your problem go away?
