    Asus G50VT-A1 + GTAIV = ?

    I am thinking about buying GTA IV and play it on my G50VTA1 (which is my main gaming system, as my desktop is an old AMD +4200 with an x1800xt).

    Is it worth it? Will the game work on say medium with a decent frame rate around 25-30?

    Does anyone it have running on a g50 and can upload a video or something to Youtube or give me sample images so I can see exactly how things are before I buy?

    well i dont have a G50 but i read it can play gta iv with 1280x800 at 25 fps average on medium / high, in GTA IV you play good if you get more than 20 fps, its smootly, maybe users of g50 can explaine that question :p sorry its all i know

    It looks fantastic. Full res, medium textures and very high everything else, and can handle all but 1 slider full, but the game gets ridiculous with that much traffic!
    Just buy it, you won't be disappointed
    not sure what the frame rate is but its smooth to me! i guess its about 25fps, could be wrong

    also, get the 180.84 dox modded drivers, they give you an extra 4-5fps in game.

    I usually just use the video feature on a digital camera and run the game with FRAPS. Works out pretty well.

    ok then, I'm sorry ill have to do it tomorrow, have a lot of work to do, but i promise i will, ill find a in game video recording software and get it done tomorrow night and ill post the link on this thread!
