I just recently upgraded to windows 7, and when I go to device manager I see two devices that say "Base System Device" I don't know what it is though I sure my SD reader is installed because I see their name. I think it's the bluetooth but I dont know.

Anyways I did a fresh/clean install where I delete all of my partitions and install.

    Thanks for any help

Its the card reader, the card reader has 3 diffrent drivers for it. Take out the Drivers and Utilities CD and install just the Card REader driver then it will be gone =)
