I bought one of these notebooks 2nd hand and it came with Vista 64bit and all the default ASUS programs and plugins that run the Touch keys and I'd imagine the ASUS console.

I formatted to windows 7 ultimate and want to enable the touch buttons again but I cannot find the drivers on the ASUS site to run them. There is nothing about them at all on their site.

I'd like to get the console up as well since I want to do the one touch overclocking.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Or Links to drivers?

Please, if anyone reading this has any idea as to the exact files we need it would be much appreciated.

Also, I've heard that the order in which I install the drivers matter so please, if you know the order let us know.

I really want to get my cam working for Skype since as of now the cam shows upside down.

    Thanks!

I went through the process of installing Win7 a couple of weeks ago, so it's still somewhat fresh in my mind. I tried upgrading but it failed so I had to go the clean install route. All the drivers for Win7 x64 are available off the Asus support site, support.asus.com

I followed the order in this thread, more or less:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=388422

    A few notes:
    1. There is no INF update for Win7.
    2. The driver for the IR is located under Utilities, "ITE Remote Controller Application".

With regard to the touchkeys and DirectConsole:
    1. Make sure you install all the ATK drivers.
    2. Under Utilities "Direct Message and Direct Flash Utility" installs DirectConsole.
    3. For the power state touch key, you probably need Power4Gear installed (under Utilities, "Power4Gear Hybrid Utility")

I also used the following thread to really understand what all the various Asus programs are:

    Good luck!
