    on craigslist.. guy bought it from best buy around 5 months ago.. says he doesnt game much anymore.. assuming everything is in working order.. how good of a deal is this?

    dam, thought that was a good deal.. i'll tell him $650.. is there anything i should ask/ look for when i go to pick up the laptop?

    -Check if warranty stickers are still there.
    -Check if he registered the warranty under his name
    -Looks for scratches, bumps, etc...

    $700 is a very good deal, given that no used G50VT-X1 has sold for under $800 on ebay recently.

    Just be a bit cautions with craigs, check to see if everything is working ok and again for a bit more you get it new, at least you know it's yours and yours only.

    If you are doing this transaction face-to-face, be sure to test everything while you're there. Don't give the guy money until you can confirm that nothing immediately obvious is broken.
