It seems direct console is forcing both winmail and outlook to load up during start up.

Now i have real time mail alerts disabled and don't use winmail at all. The exchange server i use for mail with my campus requires you to log in every time it does a net request.

Does outlook or winmail appear on your guys process list as well and have you figured out a way to stop it from auto loading at restart

Outlook on mine also starts up but loads it in the background and will automatically download email. This is really anoying and I have no idea on how to stop it. If someone knew I would love to hear.

I'm debating on trying to crack direct console to only load those in the background if the tick mark is checked. However as of right now i do not have the time to try or even know where to start honestly. I do know how to code tho, so well see what i can do when i get some free time.

If i can actually find a way to achieve this or someone else can direct console could become a very useful program. As of right now its only function is to add cosmetic appeal to your laptop at the cost of loading up crap you really dont want loaded unless you double click
